Retirement Ball             
A Special Tribute to Ms. Montana

Fia:    United in friendship, joined together in love.

Jack:  This is the Retirement Ball: A Special Tribute to Ms. Montana. We are gathered in this momentous retirement ceremony as a celebration of life and career.


Fia:    A wonderful evening, ladies and gentlemen. Im Fia.

Jack:  Good evening to everyone. Im Jack and we are your hosts for tonight.

Fia:    Foremost, I would like to say thank you to everybody who came here tonight and for your awesome presence and oozing appeal. This is not just your ordinary night because tonight is a night of love, life, and togetherness a perfect moment to reminisce the best memories that we have had.


Jack:  At this very moment, we are celebrating the 36 magnificent years of service of our very own Ms. Montana Treesaranuwattana. We dont really want her to retire but tonight we hope to have a lot of fun, share some laughter, and shed just a few tears as we send Ms. Montana to her happy retirement.



 


Fia:    To formally begin the program, I would like to call in Ms. Gina Barizo and Ms. Maribel Cape to set everyones mood for tonight and to lead us the prayer.

Jack:  Thank you Ms. Gina and Ms. Maribel. Tonight is a very special night because its not just about friendship but more importantly, its also about love and family. To start with, we are very humbled to have the presence of the family members of our retiree, Ms. Montana.. Her sisters:        Ms. Sopit Changaroon and Ms. Rossokun Changaroon
Her niece, her nieces husband, and their cute daughter. 


 

Fia:     We also want to acknowledge the presence of the former colleagues of Ms. Montana who will welcome her to the retirement world. We have:
          Ms. Chitra Noomahan, Ms. Jirawan Narlpol, Ms. Naridee Jaruyawong, Ms. Jirawadee Srinupkun, Ms. Euangthip Tanasomnoon, and Ms. Sirinoot Soontharasri (Provide the surname)







Jack:  And most importantly the bestfriend of our dear retiree, the head of the Academic Affairs of St. Francis Xavier Convent, Ms. Vichit Siripoonhattakit.

Fia:    Lets also recognize our gorgeous Thai English Language teachers both in Prathom and Mattayom.

Jack:  All smiles for all our foreign teachers who look equally dazzling and fabulous this evening.

Fia:    And of course to the friends, colleagues, former colleagues, and guests of our dear retiree, a warm welcome to all of you.

Jack:  Welcome to this celebration and I hope you will enjoy tonights tribute.

Fia:    Everybodys wearing their best dresses tonight. Right partner?
Jack:  Exactly partner! And you look stunning tonight..


Fia:    Thank you and so are you. Before we go any further, lets go back to the main reason why we are here tonight. At this point, may I request Ms. Montana Treesaranuwattana to come in front and take her throne for tonight. Everybody lets all stand, roll the red carpet, and raise the swords as we make way for our retiree, Ms. Montana.

Jack:  Lets give her a round of applause.


 

Fia:    This exceptional woman is full of love that shes willing to share to everybody. Shes always willing to go extra miles to extend her help in any way she can. Now, to further get to know this person that we proudly honor tonight, May I call on Ms. Ann Margaret Alvarez to narrate the biography of Ms. Montana. Lets welcome her with a big hand.

Ms. Montana, for lengthy years and countless instances, you have become a mother to us and we prepared a very special video presentation for you.

Jack:  What a lovely video tribute. Thanks to Ms. Rendel Octura for her expertise.

Fia:    At this very moment ladies and gentlemen, its time to offer our presents to Ms. Montana. May these keepsake remind you of the good times that we have had together. Lets start with the giving of flowers. May I ask everyone to line up and give the flower to Ms. Montana.

Jack:  Thank you to everyone. Now, we offer you our simple present as you happily retire. May I call on Ms. Mutita ……………………….. to give the present on behalf of everyone.

Fia:    Thank you Ms. Mutita. Its time to present the beautiful bouquet of flowers for Ms. Montana. May I call on Ms. Babylyn Arabe to give the bouquet.

Fia:    Now, we have come to the highlight of this program. Let us hear the inspirational message from our beloved Ms. Montana Treesaranuwattana. Lets welcome her with a thunderous applause.

Jack:  Thank you so much for that very heartwarming message. On behalf of your colleagues at Saint Francis Xavier Convent and all the guests here present, I would like to say thank you for being our mentor and inspiration.

Fia:    May you enjoy a relaxing and worry-free retirement. I hope you visit us often and lets stay in touch to make more lasting memories together.
 

Jack:  As we keep the momentum of the night, the foreign teachers prepared a one of a kind performance for everybody. May I request my dashing colleagues to take the dance floor for the Ball Dance. Lets give them a resounding applause.

Fia:    That was an exquisite performance from our teachers and of course from yours truly. Right, Jack?
Jack:  Indeed, Fia. Thats for certain but what Im more certain now is that I think everybodys feeling a bit hungry. Am I correct? Well according to them, its not good to let the food wait. With that, may I request Ms. Aichen Go to lead us the prayer before meal.

Fia:    Thank you Ms. Aichen. And now, let's enjoy the delectable gastronomic treat courtesy of The Royal River Hotel. Bon Appétit!

Fia:    As we express goodwill for our much-loved retiree, may I call on Mr. Kingsley Ahiwe to propose a toast.

Jack:  Is everybody enjoying their meal so far? As we all know, one of our colleagues in the Special English Program is also leaving and plans to get settled in her country, the Philippines. May I request Ms. Manilyn Labrador to be seated in front. Lets give her a big applause.


Fia:    Before we wish her good luck on her future endeavors, lets get to know her more. Lets see if you really know Ms. Manilyn. I have trivia questions for everyone. If you know the answer to each of the questions, just raise your hand and my partner Jack will get your answer.

Jack:  It seems that you know Ms. Manilyn so well. May I ask a short message for Ms. Manilyn.

Fia:    Ms. Manilyn, we hate to say goodbye but we wish you much joy and happiness as you begin a new chapter in your life. You are leaving but the sweet memories of working with you will never be forgotten. I hope you will enjoy this special collection of memories in this video presentation.

Fia:    To Ms. Manilyn, we hope that well meet again in the future. To Ms. Montana, may you enjoy a happy retirement. Thank you for all youve done to us over the years. At this juncture, may I call on the head of Academic Affairs of St. Francis Xavier Convent, Ms. Vichit Siripoonhattakit, to give some inspiring words as we are about to end this program.
